Long-Range Planning Projects
It is an exciting time for the City of Statesboro! We are nearing completion of
our comprehensive plan, and are in the midst of a cooperative effort with Bulloch County and the Georgia Department of
Transportation to prepare a long range transportation plan. These essential projects will jointly shape the manner in which
Statesboro will grow and prosper for the next twenty years - balancing demand for new services while providing for the existing

Bulloch County - City of Statesboro
Long Range Transportation Plan
The City of Statesboro, Bulloch County and the Georgia Department of Transportation are utilizing the
services of HNTB Corporation to study the community's current and future transportation needs through the year 2035. The resulting
long-range transportation plan will serve as a companion document to the City of Statesboro's Comprehensive Plan (2009 - 2029).

Statesboro, Georgia, Comprehensive Plan (2009-2029)
The Comprehensive Plan is developed in accordance with
rules and
guidelines established by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. The plan provides a vision for the physical development
of the community, lists issues and opportunities that must be addressed by the city, and identifies and prioritizes actions that
will be taken to meet short term needs and long term goals.
